As much as I like most of Cabot's books, I was slow to pick up this series. My daughter had to read it first and then convince me. "Queen of Babble" didn't sound like something I'd like, as an individual book or as a series. The cover, for some reason, is associated with Shopaholic, and since shopping as recreation doesn't interest me...Had it been titled "Discovering Your Foreign Sweetie is a Complete Wanker" I'd have been all over it. Also, I like the travel aspect, and there is nothing that says Midwestern Girl in Europe for the First Time.
And now Lizzie is a favorite heroine: she's clever, she's resourceful, she's talented, and she solves problems.
