There is a seriously snarky magic guy with a most unusual coat, there is an ass-kicking pickpocket gal with mad skills, there is some sort of very bad thing happening amidst the various Londons and these two need to work together. And they're both orphans.
Likely to be popular with fans of the Howl's Moving Castle series as well as fans of Neverwhere. Very cool start to what I hope will be an outstanding series.
