Look! A Book! - Bob Staake

All the  squees. Natasha and I went through a lot of  seek-and-find books from Waldo through I Spy to the really-quite-challanging Graeme Base Eleventh Hour and Paul S. Adshead's amazing Puzzle Island. Those are all good times So part of the huge appeal here is pure nostalgia. She would have loved this when she was four, with the things to look for, and more things to look for, and still more things to look for, and the die cut holes showcasing the things that rhyme, and the art, done with an old school mouse and Photoshop that looks so similar to J.otto Seibold's work I could die. ( Huge fan of Olive, the Other Reindeer and Penguin Dreams, in particular). But that's not all, because the themes for each two-page spread are marvelous. Fun, fun fun.
